It seems to be similar to Duplicity/DejaDup, tools I usually use, but which aren't available on Windows. Searching the internet, I came across Duplicati2. These are the options that I am aware of with de duplication, in alphabetical order, there are almost certainly a bunch of others that I'm unaware of as well.Īny experience with Duplicati2 as a backup tool on Windows? Backup options that allow for deduplication?.Anybody know if anyone is working on bringing it back online? Not sure how long this has been down for, certainly the past few days that I've been trying to get to it. is broken - won't load, yet works fine. Any suggestions? THanks.Ĭan't load the forum (thank goodness for Google cache) I previously used to do so, but I'd prefer to synch the folders on command instead of having services running constantly on both machines. I need to keep some folders synched between a windows and a linux/ubuntu machine. Synchronizing folders between machines (linux/windows)
#Syncthing unraid android
I myself use () to transfer my notes between mac and android (previously win and android). How do I claim my notes on other devices? I also use to sync my Obsidian vault between my Work PC, HomeLab and Phone. I personally use this to sync a "Documents" folder that contains a bunch of important docs between my PC, HomeLab and phone. One other way you could do this is utilize Syncthing ( ). Not fancy, but gets the job done and easier to setup than NextCloud. Since I already have a server running Plex, I'm just using Syncthing to backup important photos and documents on my phone. Feel free to share yours if you think they might help anyone. My biggest misconceptions in the degoogling process/privacy journey.Unlike Dropbox and crew, this app doesn't communicate through third-party servers. Get Syncthing and edit a text file in a sync'd folder.
